Physiotherapists have a great opportunity of leading a successful career in almost any country throughout the world. More and more countries today are in high demand for physiotherapists. It is a prevalent career choice and the employment possibilities are numerous both in private sectors and government companies.

There are several courses in physiotherapy which include Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and also Master of Physiotherapy (MPT). The least passing score is fifty percent for all of these subjects. Admission to the BPT course is possible if you get a passing score in the entrance tests done at both state and national levels. Generally, this course can be finished within three and a half to four and a half years. Upon course completion, the students are also required to undergo rotatory internship which is not optional. Furthermore, to continue studies in physiotherapy, a person can take an admission examination to Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) course. This program is for two years period. In such case, the student must ensure to complete the Bachelor of Physiotherapy course first from any legal university or institute before proceeding to the MPT course.
As for the career opportunities, there are several employment openings both in government and also private sectors. A bonafide physiotherapist can work in places such as hospital rehabilitation departments, central government departments, state government departments, medical rehabilitation centers, municipal corporations, health institutions and defense medical establishments. There are lots of private clinics around as well as hospitals, nursing centers, rehabilitation centers and other institutions where physiotherapists are needed. Moreover, there is also a career opportunity in teaching for physiotherapists. They can choose to impart their knowledge to others by serving as instructors to students in universities.
