The persons who collect information are called as journalists, people who want to work as a journalist needs to poses a degree in Journalism or at least should have a passion of becoming a journalist because some Media organizations used to employ students who don’t even have a degree in that field. Only a few will be needed for maintaining the machineries used for printing purposes. If you are an artist and good in drawing cartoons then you may take up the job of a cartoonist in Print Media which is again a competitive area.
Every Print Media will be having columnists for various streams of news. If you look at sports column only a veteran sportsperson used to write in that section, likewise only people who have wide knowledge in that particular area (economics, fashion, automotive, etc) will be allowed to write in respective column. A talented person will always be in need by media organizations to be their columnist.
