This is a branch of applied mathematics that uses mathematical principles to achieve sound and harmonious conduct of research and survey experiments. Moreover, it is also concern with arranging, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting the data gathered through research and survey experiments in a way that makes sense to readers. Taking a degree in statistics leads you into this path and the people involved in statistics are called statisticians.

They work on the background but they are very much involved in every major decision making of an organization.
The degree in statistics requires a sound understanding of mathematical principles and a particular passion for numbers. Statisticians are particularly inquisitive in nature and they love to ask questions. Aside from mathematics, particularly calculus, a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics requires computer science and other basic liberal arts courses.
